THE WATER WALK

Every year Earth Day serves as a reminder to do our part in conserving all that our beautiful planet has to offer. Today we are especially grateful that we have accessible clean water for our daily needs. For the villagers of the Maasai Mara in Kenya, their water sources are a distance away. The women in these villages are responsible for walking to the closest water source several times a day, carrying a heavy barrel of water back to their family. On our trip to Kenya we met Mama Jane, who now has a source of water in her community thanks to the efforts of Mon Amie's charity partner, WE. Every Mon Amie Water watch sold contributes to projects such as this in communities in the WE Villages of Kenya. Mon Amie brand ambassador Hailey Devine had the opportunity to walk in Mama Jane's shoes and experience the water walk. Click here to read her reflection on this experience.

Not only does she love pink but she loves products that give back too!
